The BizTech Products organization is responsible for delivering innovative technology solutions that empower Airbnb's internal teams to operate efficiently and effectively. Within BizTech Products, you will join a dynamic team of engineers, architects, and business partners who are passionate about building world-class enterprise systems.
As a Technical Lead, you will serve as a technical leader and subject matter expert, partnering with senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives. You will work closely with your manager for thought partnership on strategic priorities while setting best practices for systems engineering across the organization.
The Technical Lead is a senior technical leader responsible for solving critical problems that require extremely specialized expertise. In this role, you will help deliver and identify the most critical priorities and set best practices for BizTech Products and technical experts in the region. You will be held accountable to deliver on your own Cultural & Functional Excellence (CAFE) contributions and help promote for indirect reports to uphold their CAFE contributions, as these contributions are important for career advancement within Tech. As BizTech’s footprint of regional expertise grows in India, a primary, senior resource to support multiple experts and be accountable for delivering on complex business problems is key.
You will serve as a bridge between our current US-based leadership, Airbnb’s global stakeholder community, while utilizing your deep technical skills and enterprise SaaS expertise to architect, optimize, and scale our technology platforms. This includes owning specific, critical enterprise tasks for all of BizTech Products, such as defining when India-based stakeholders should be testing enterprise software changes for acceptance. Your forward-thinking approach and ability to anticipate future needs will significantly accelerate our journey toward becoming an efficient organization centered around self-service, and early adopters of AI.
You will act as a leader and innovator in your area of expertise, advising and mentoring others on the team while serving as a liaison between your team and business stakeholders.

This position is remote-eligible and can be performed from anywhere in India with a robust internet connection. You will collaborate with teams across multiple time zones, but with a mandatory minimum 2hr overlap with US Pacific Time Zone (8:00am - 10:00am PT) [excluding Fridays, IST].
As part of our remote work policy, you may be required to travel periodically for team gatherings, planning sessions, or company events (typically no more than two times per year).
