Reporting to Director Engineering, Care Platform, you will leverage your extensive experience in building complex web applications to shape the future of our Care Platform. You will not only guide a team of engineers but also create platforms that prioritize functionality and speed, all while keeping user experience at the forefront. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement scalable web applications that enhance functionality and user experience.
- Utilize modern frameworks and technologies for improvements, while performing code reviews to maintain high code quality.
- Integrate backend services and APIs to ensure seamless functionality within the applications.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers to support their technical growth.
- Coordinate team efforts to ensure everyone is aligned on project goals.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to promote collaboration and define best practices for frontend development.
- Create an environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of professional frontend development experience (React, TypeScript, and modern CSS frameworks and GraphQL).
- Proven track record of building and maintaining internal platforms or large-scale design systems.
- Deep expertise in state management for complex, multi-stage user journeys.
- Experience with AI integration within UIs (e.g., handling asynchronous AI outputs, human-in-the-loop triggers).
- Proficient understanding of API design and how to optimize frontend performance for data-intensive applications.
- Know how to improve the performance of frontend applications.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks and tools for frontend applications
- Demonstrated success in leading frontend projects from concept to execution
- History of improving application performance metrics by significant margins
- Experience in mentoring junior engineers and fostering their career growth
- Proven ability to collaborate successfully with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions
- Track record of implementing best practices in frontend development within teams
- Successful contributions to open-source projects or community-driven initiatives in frontend technology
Pay:
The United States new hire base salary target ranges for this full-time position are:
Zone A: $149,450 - $211,100 + equity + benefits
Zone B: $164,395 - $232,210 + equity + benefits
Zone C: $179,340 - $253,320 + equity + benefits
Zone D: $194,285 - $274,430 + equity + benefits

Starting base salary for you will depend on several job-related factors, unique to each candidate, which may include education; training; skills; years and depth of experience; certifications and licensure; our needs; internal peer equity; organizational considerations; and understanding of geographic and market data. Compensation structures and ranges are tailored to each zone's unique market conditions to ensure that all employees receive fair and great compensation package based on their roles and locations.
