Social Finance, LLC seeks Staff Engineer, Software in San Francisco, CA:
Job Duties: Participate in the full development life-cycle from project requirements to
deployment. Lead the development and testing of system components/services, code and
design reviews. Define new product/technical architectures for across one or several features of
the product. Deliver and operate highly available and scalable services in a production
environment. Mentor other engineers, support the technical culture, and help grow the team.
Communicate with project leads, product managers and other software developers on multiple
projects. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer
Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of
experience in the job offered or related field OR Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree
equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline,
and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or related field.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) Java; (2) XML; (3) SOAP; (4) Shell scripting; (5) Unix; (6)
Maven; (7) Hibernate; (8) Perl; and (9) Sybase. Any suitable combination of education, training
and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
Salary: $206,315.00 - $237,262.00 per annum.
