We are looking for a solid cross-language Sr Full Stack Engineer, more focused on the Backend, with a cloud architecture vision that helps us build and maintain all of the tools and processes required to turn chef-designed meals from an idea into cooked meals.

This is our current stack:

Languages: Javascript

Frameworks: ReactJS, Redux, NodeJS, PHP (Only API), Typescript, GraphQL, GIT

Database: MySQL y PostgresSQL.

Infrastructure: AWS Based: Kubernets, S3, CloudFront and RDS.

CI/CD: we use GitLab pipelines for automatic deployments, we are starting to use automated testing and in the near future we are about to implement static code analyzers.

Responsibilities

Here are some of the things you’ll help us with:

Design and implement platform features, within our Javascript stack, that engages customers and has a meaningful impact on people’s lives.
Iterating on new and existing features to improve user experience and performance.
Actively contribute to the adoption of strong software architecture, development best practices, and new technologies.
Improving the maturity of our technical stack with engineering best practices.
Being part of the code review process and helping to mentor other engineers.
Contribute technically to projects by being a hands-on coder, removing roadblocks, and repairing technical issues.

Qualifications

You have experience designing and building cloud architecture, backends, middle ends, web apps, basically the whole combo!
You understand how to interact with and build backend REST APIs.
You have an advance level of English
You enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced startup environment.
You have at least +5yrs of experience as a Software Engineer and you can engage with projects in NodeJS and TypeScript.
You're proficient in relational database management.
Experience working with Docker/Kubernetes/CI environments.
