Rec Room is the best place to build and play games together. Players can chat, hang out, explore millions of rooms, or create something new to share with the world.
We’re excited to bring a Staff Data Scientist into the Creator org. This team is responsible for all creation and creator support across the platform, including the building blocks, creation tooling itself, and publication and monetization of the rooms. This org is crucial to the success of Rec Room, and this role will play a meaningful part in its success.
As the Staff Data Scientist on the Creator Team, you will be a key insights leader responsible for owning the comprehensive story on how creators → build their content, form teams, and monetize. You will directly partner with product managers and engineers to drive impact from those insights by creating new features or modifying the existing user experience. You will be one of the most senior individuals contributing to the team, helping to lead all parts of the product lifecycle, from strategy to driving execution, measuring results, and using learnings to inform future decisions. You’ll work closely with data scientists from other teams, including ranking, engagement, and trust & safety, to align our priorities and strategies.
