What You Will Do:
- Partner with the managers, directors and technical leaders of our organization to elevate our architecture practices to the next level;
- Collaborate and support the technical leaders in making technical decisions following our standards and guardrails/guidelines;
- Help other teams to identify, prioritize, and resolve technical debts and bugs;
- Foster adoption of best coding practices and patterns;
- Write technical documentation (with charts, data points and diagrams) and present technical solutions to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner;
- Help create the architecture principles and present to different stakeholders (e.g.: managers, technical leaders, directors, product managers);
- Suggest, develop and implement new tools and technologies to solve cross-functional problems;
- Communicate and elaborate ideas to both technical and non-technical individuals;
- Identify possible improvements in our overall architecture, perform proof of concepts (POCs) and drive the adoption of new architectural concepts with different teams;
- Assist in the career development of other developers by providing technical mentoring, pair programming and/or reviewing PRs;
- Actively contribute to our Backend community by planning, executing and presenting in our Backend Guild sharing technical knowledge;
- Facilitate communication and alignment of technical backlogs between squads.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field OR relevant time Software Engineering work experience;
- Solid fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving;
- Expertise in at least one programming language and its main frameworks;
- Experience in Systems Architectural styles (Monolith, Plugin, SOA, Microservices, Event-driven);
- Knowledge of Architecture concepts (Software design, hexagonal architecture, onion, clean architecture);
- Experience with APIs and capabilities;
- Experience in leading the deployment of systems into production;
- Familiarity with Cloud platforms and main providers;
- Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases;
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) Technologies;
- Familiarity with Monitoring Tools, Metrics, and Observability;
- Experience with Agile Framework;
- Understanding of DevOps culture, automation (CI/CD), and main tools;
- Advanced level of English.
