We are looking for talented NodeJS software engineers to join our Bengaluru team to help our clients bring novel web services to market. Our consultants are natural problem solvers - they are curious, ambitious, and experts in their fields. You will have the opportunity to collaborate and learn from our whole team.

You will be working on exciting and interesting projects, working with our clients to understand their needs and to help shape the engagements that allow Servian to provide services that will meet those needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Software design and development in NodeJS on cloud.

Involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including analysis and design, software development, testing and release.

Collaboration with a geographically distributed team following agile ways of working.

Designing prototypes according to specifications.

Evaluate existing code to refactor, update and add new feature updatesDevelop technical documents and handbooks.

Mentor and coach junior developers.

Utilise Jira to track, monitor and communicate development/bug fix progress.

Must have skills:

Experience: 3-9 years

Good working experience shipping production grade code in NodeJS.

Experience in relational database design e.g. PostgreSQL, SQLServer or others.

Proficient working in a Linux environment.

Good understanding of RESTful Services and development experience in RESTful APIs.

Good working knowledge on Git for version control.

Nice to have skills:

Exposure to one major cloud (e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP).

On-premise experience with a keen interest to grow in cloud is also ok.

Exposure to DevOps.

Exposure to Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
