Software Engineer Intern

This is an onsite position in Fremont, CA for 3 months with possible extension (Need someone as soon as possible)

Job Overview:

At Weee! The Pricing Team is responsible for building systems to protect customer trust in how we price our products and services. As an intern for the Pricing Team, you would work closely with software engineers in the team to collect and analyze internal and market data using real time pricing platforms to ensure we always offer the most competitive price to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement new system scripts to collect and review market pricing data.
• Implement solutions to analyze internal pricing data.
• Validate connections between internal product data and market data suggested by automation intelligence.
• Maintain pricing system infrastructure and service codes.
• Provide reference by writing standard operating procedure (SOP) documentation.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proficiency in Python and HTML is a prerequisite.
• Demonstrated expertise in data extraction using Python or BeautifulSoup.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to comprehend website structures and layouts.
• Strong grasp of data manipulation and cleaning methods.
• Proficiency with data storage technologies like SQL databases or MySQL databases.
• Familiarity with data analysis and visualization tools like Pandas.

Preferred Skills:

• Preferred experience with Git and Github.
• Prior exposure to APIs and web services.
• Experience with AWS is a plus.
• Experience with Java is a plus.

Compensation Range

• The US base salary range for this full-time position is $30 - $40 per hour
