Software Engineer I (Python+React+Typescript+AWS)

Here’s a summary of the role:

We are looking for a Software Engineer I to join our engineering team and work on meaningful technical challenges. You will contribute to building end-to-end features that power our next-generation SaaS platform, helping global customers simplify governance, risk, and compliance workflows.

In this role, you will primarily work with Python, React, TypeScript, and AWS to build scalable applications and services. As AI capabilities become central to our products, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to AI-enabled features alongside traditional software development, including building integration layers that connect AI services to existing applications.

Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):

  • Develop full-stack features using Python, React, and TypeScript
  • Build scalable backend services and APIs using Python
  • Develop modern React components for responsive and intuitive user experiences
  • Work with AWS services to deploy and scale cloud-native applications
  • Build integration layers that connect AI capabilities to existing applications
  • Work on MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers and other AI integration patterns
  • Create APIs and services that expose application features for AI consumption
  • Implement security, authentication, and authorization for application and AI features
  • Build audit logging, monitoring, and observability for AI workflows
  • Work with containerized deployments using Docker and CI/CD pipelines

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:

Tech Stack

Core: Python, React, TypeScript, AWS, MSSQL/PostgreSQL, Docker, CI/CD

Good to have: Node.js or .NET (C#) exposure

Technical Skills

  • 1–2 years of professional software development experience
  • Strong programming experience in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Hands-on experience building React-based web applications
  • Experience designing and working with REST APIs
  • Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL, or similar) and exposure to NoSQL databases
  • Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Exposure to AWS services or other cloud platforms
  • Basic understanding of authentication and authorization patterns

  • Open to learning new technologies, frameworks, and AI tools
  • Applies a structured approach to solving technical problems
  • Comfortable working with ambiguous or evolving requirements
  • Actively seeks feedback and improves solutions iteratively

Communication & Collaboration

  • Able to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Engages constructively in code reviews and technical discussions
  • Works effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Documents code, APIs, and technical decisions

Ownership & Execution

  • Follows through on deliverables and assigned work
  • Completes tasks independently with appropriate guidance
  • Comfortable asking for help when needed
  • Takes ownership of features from development to delivery

AI & Integration Experience (Good to Have)

  • Exposure to AI/ML concepts or LLM APIs (AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic)
  • Experience using Python for AI integrations
  • Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar AI integration patterns
  • Familiarity with API gateway or wrapper patterns
  • Interest in prompt engineering and AI tool design
  • Awareness of vector databases or RAG concepts
