About the Position
We are looking for a Software Engineer to help us build out the next iteration of Rapid’s core product, the API Hub. This role will play an important role in defining the user experience of every one of Rapid’s customers as we evolve to an expanded product platform. The ideal candidate has a passion for building pixel-perfect engagements and a desire to develop intuitive experiences with modern frameworks and tools. They also have a bias to action and a growth mindset. They strive to deliver what is best for the customer and learn the skills needed to achieve progress with urgency and rigor.
In this role, you will:
- Play a critical role in building the next iteration of Rapid’s core product – the API Hub – with sustained quality and feature-velocity
- Employ a test-first approach, ensuring reliability and security are top of mindTake on developing new features and collaborating with your peers to drive the platform forward
- Work closely with our product design team to ensure a crisp and consistent user experience
You have:
- Development experience building, operating, testing, and debugging web applications using modern Javascript frameworks (React, Vue, etc.)
- Some experience with GraphQL is a bonus
- A keen eye for design and utilizing reusable components where possible
- A desire to operate with a modern software development life cycle that is focused on reliability and developer productivity
