Position Summary:

The ServiceNow Architect maintains the master plan for our approach to ServiceNow, ensures all ServiceNow work is done to the same high standard by both internal and external resources and keeps us using current and best practice design patterns. In addition to the Essential Responsibilities listed in the table below, this is an illustration of the sorts of tasks a candidate should expect to spend their time on:

  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, available modules and future product features
  • Maintains a thorough understanding of the Pax8 business model and future growth expectations
  • Coordinates the team to produce and maintain the technical standards
  • Advises team on solution architecture and design for all projects
  • Is accountable for ensuring all ServiceNow external partner projects fit within the Pax8 ServiceNow architecture, standards and roadmap
  • Ensures solutions delivered remain sustainable and supportable
  • Ensures accepted 'Technical Debt' is kept to the absolute minimum and is accepted only where such is necessary to provide tangible value to the business
  • Drives a learning and collaborative culture of curiosity in the ServiceNow team
  • Monitors overall ServiceNow costs and actively seeks to eliminate waste

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Creates and maintains the Pax8 ServiceNow master architecture plan in alignment with the Pax8 ServiceNow roadmap
  • Collaborates with the rest of Technology Services team to identify opportunities to reduce “SaaS Sprawl” across Pax8
  • Engages stakeholders during discovery and design of all projects and requests
  • Maintains a detailed overview of all Pax8 systems that interact with ServiceNow and their part in the business model
  • Using the established best practices and the Pax8 business model; creates, maintains and enforces a Pax8 ServiceNow best practice portfolio
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge of the ServiceNow Platform, available modules and future product features.
  • Coordinates with the Product Manager to properly identify all projects, requests and projected requirements in the Pax8 ServiceNow roadmap
  • Other duties as listed in the summary above

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Administrator and ServiceNow Developer
  • ServiceNow development and integration experience using multiple ServiceNow modules including: CSM, ITSM, SPM, HRSD, ITAM, ITOM
  • ServiceNow certifications preferred
  • Experience with business analysis and solution architecture
  • Ability to be resourceful, with creative problem-solving and a can-do attitude
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of ServiceNow best practices
  • Fluent conversational English speaker

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Certification in ServiceNow: CSA, CAD, CIS

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $158,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
