This role is the primary expert within a technology stack. The iOS Tech Lead contributes to established iOS Mobile App design choices and technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.  The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment and be engaged in the development process. 

Key Responsibilities:(Tech Stack)

  • Lead the development of a secure, privacy-focused iOS browser using WebKit, ensuring high-performance, reliable app delivery.
  • Architect the browser’s security and privacy features, integrating mechanisms like VPNs, data protection, and fraud detection.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (backend, UX, security) to design, implement, and test security protocols and encryption.
  • Optimize WebKit integrations for efficient browsing while maintaining strict user privacy and security standards.
  • Experience in integrations with Apple Subscriptions module and in-app purchases. Develop and enforce coding best practices and ensure adherence to Apple's guidelines, particularly around privacy and data management.
  • Guide junior iOS developers and conduct code reviews to maintain high-quality, scalable, and maintainable code.
  • Stay updated with iOS updates, WebKit improvements, and security practices to ensure the browser remains compliant and innovative.
  • Experienced in the Apple AppStore review process. Manage risk identification and risk mitigation strategies associated with the architecture.
  • Active leader in the Architecture Practice community, mentoring Engineers and others through Communities of Practice (CoPs) or on project teams, supporting the growth of technical capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • A minimum of 6+ years of experience/expertise working as a Software Engineer, with proficiency in the specified technologies:
  • Expertise in Xcode, XCTest, Swift, SwiftUI, UIKitStrong experience in iOS development with Swift and Objective-C, especially in WebKit integration and custom browser functionalities.
  • Expertise in implementing security protocols, including encryption, VPN integration, and fraud detection mechanisms.
  • knowledge of iOS privacy policies, App Store guidelines, and best practices in secure app development.
  • GitHub Process.
  • Interaction with Cloud environments.
  • Must have good knowledge of unit testing.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Communicate in a clear and understandable manner with clients and managers.
  • Demonstrated problem solving, analytic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Should have experience working in Agile (awareness of user stories, story estimation in story points, etc.).
