About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Software Engineer with strong C# and .NET expertise to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of system networking, operating systems, database technologies, and a strong emphasis on clean, test-driven development.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain applications using C# and .NET (both .NET Framework and .NET Core).
Design, develop, and troubleshoot .NET Core applications across Windows, MacOS, and Ubuntu environments.
Implement and maintain secure code signing practices across multiple platforms (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
Write and maintain shell scripts for Linux (Bash), Windows (PowerShell), and optionally Python or Perl scripting.
Collaborate with team members to foster a strong testing culture through unit testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Manage and work within Git-based version control systems.
Troubleshoot and optimize database systems, including MS SQL, MySQL, and Sqlite.
Apply strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP) in application development and troubleshooting.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum of 4 years' professional experience with C# and a deep understanding of the .NET framework.
Proficiency in both .NET Framework and .NET Core development.
Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including routing, DNS, DHCP, TCP, UDP, IP, and SNMP.
Hands-on experience with relational databases: MS SQL, MySQL, and Sqlite.
Experience working with Windows, MacOS, and Ubuntu operating systems, including troubleshooting .NET Core applications on Ubuntu.
Experience in cross-platform code signing (Windows, Linux, MacOS).
Scripting proficiency with Linux shell (Bash) and Windows PowerShell; knowledge of Python and Perl is a plus.
Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
Strong understanding and application of unit testing methodologies; experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) is highly desirable.
Practical experience with Git and other version control systems.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with cloud environments and deployment pipelines.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
Contributions to open-source projects or technical communities.
