As a Senior Security Engineer, you will help ensure that sensitive data is kept confidential. You will make sure we have the right software and hardware in place, build out policies and processes around security and compliance, and supervise IT projects that guarantee the safety of valuable information as well as our internet and intranet infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Analyze security systems and seek improvements on a continuous basis
Create strategies around securing our company’s data, systems, and assets
Drive the creation and implementation of security policies and process
Evaluate security services and make decisions around the best tools and technologies
Develop a security roadmap and plan the necessary work to accomplish desired state
Execute on roadmap, deploy new technologies, and implement new policies
Configure and install security tools ranging from IAM/SSO/MFA to robust DLP tracking and monitoring systems
Monitor alerts and respond to sophisticated threats
Support the technical enablement of our teams

Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's degree. Masters or PhD strongly preferred
Experience working within SOC 2 Compliance for Data Security
Must have prior experience working in IT/Security role for a remote workforce
Must have hands on experience deploying security software solutions for enterprise
Must have cloud security experience and general cloud knowledge
Experience on Azure services a huge plus
You are motivated and prepared to work independently
You are passionate about the blockchain and Web3 space
