About the role:
Join us! Classy is seeking our next Senior Salesforce Developer. Classy’s Salesforce integration is a crucial integration for our non-profit customers.
This role is for someone who is not only passionate about our mission of empowering people to help others but also an expert in salesforce development. You will help improve data processing and work on the Classy for Salesforce managed package.
What you’ll do:
- Analyze, design, and develop software that delivers clean, maintainable code within a large, complex, and established code base.
- Collaborate with Product Manager and other cross-functional teams to identify and define requirements on business critical efforts
- Learn and grow your skills by working collaboratively with experienced and engaged developers to design new features and re-architect existing ones.
- Within an Agile environment, work as part of a Scrum team and develop web-based software solutions.
- Mentor other Salesforce Developers on the team to use best software development practices and processes.
What you bring (Required):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years of professional software development experience with Salesforce Apex Classes, Apex Triggers, Visualforce Development, Process and Flow Builder and SOQL
- Ability to integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs
- Knowledge in designing, creating and managing complex data models & workflows for managed packages
- Experience in front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, Javascript and AJAX
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues in Salesforce
- Ability to create data mapping and transformation processes to ensure data consistency, accuracy and integrity between Salesforce and Classy system, while adhering to data security and compliance requirements
- Deep understanding of Salesforce Managed Package security review requirements
- Experience working with remote and offshore teams
- Experience with Visual Studio Code, Git, Bitbucket or similar

The total annual salary for this full-time position is $130,000-$175,000 + equity + benefits. As this is a remote position, the salary range was determined by role, level, and possible location across the US. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
