About the Role:
This Senior Map Engine Engineer role is responsible for supporting building engines to support high definition maps of fully autonomous trucks. Our Mapping Team is responsible for developing and maintaining the underlying software framework that powers map-based services and applications. The engineer will be involved in designing and implementation of spatial data structures, optimizing the memory footprint and ensuring the timely delivery of spatial queries in the onboard system. The engineer may also work on developing some web services of the mapping pipeline.
