The Creator Analytics team is building an ultra-scale platform that ingests trillions of events every month empowering millions of Creators to increase their creations on the platform.

As a Senior Front End or Senior Full Stack Engineer, you'll have the chance to work on many exciting projects such as building developer dashboards, real-time systems to help creators monitor performances, and extraction of insights from raw data. You will help build configurable and performant charts and visualization UI components in our Design System that can be used by any engineering team across Roblox.

You will work cross functionally with different teams to enhance the user experience and provide Creators with guidance on how to improve and grow their Experiences in a data driven way.

You will:

Build and own customer facing products that enables millions of Creators on the platform
Take ownership and responsibility for designing and building components within the Roblox ecosystem.
Introduce and maintain new UI Components and libraries to Grasshopper, our private NPM repository for reusable JS/TS code
Work on a variety of unique technical challenges within complex systems
Collaborate with passionate Engineers, Product Managers and other Roblox team members

You have:

4+ years shipping world class UIs with some experience build dashboards
Hand-on experience with Javascript UI frameworks, React/Redux, Next JS
Experience with visualization tools and libraries like D3, HighCharts
Used tools like WebPack, Lighthouse, NPM
Experience building APIs; REST and GraphQL consuming backend services (plus)
Used TypeScript/Flow for 2+ years (plus)
Worked with highly scalable OLAP storage like Druid, Pinot, ClickHouse (plus)

You are:

Passionate about building a great UI/UX experience through continuous improvements
An advocate for performance optimization of the apps
Invested in testing - unit tests, E2E tests, performance testing and auto-optimizations
A collaborative and motivated team member

For roles that are based at our headquarters in San Mateo, CA: The starting base pay for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
