Senior DevOps Engineer

This is an on-site role in O’Fallon, MO to support Mastercard’s OCC (Operations Command Center) by developing and delivering high-value automations that reduce manual workload, event correlation, improve incident resolution, and enhance operational efficiency. The automation team will leverage SoundhoundAI:Autonomics technologies and CSI best practices.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the design and development of automation using SoundhoundAI:Autonomics and Automation modules.
• Collaborate with Mastercard OCC leads to identify value-add automations aligned with business goals.
• Develop solutions to:
• Improve event correlation.
• Reduce escalations to senior teams.
• Increase first-call resolution.
• Drive down customer-facing incidents by 50%.
• Enable 90% incident resolution at the OCC level.
• Implement automatic problem remediation processes.
• Introduce CSI's best practices and automation libraries to fast-track solution delivery.
• Mentor and support Mastercard staff in automation design and development, as needed.

We would love to hear from you if:

• You have 7+ years of proven experience leading automation initiatives in large-scale IT infrastructure environments.
• You have a deep understanding of SoundhoundAI:Autonomics, and other automation frameworks.
• You have proficiency in Python, PowerShell, Ansible, and scripting for system automation.
• You have a strong grasp of networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies.
• You have experience with tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and RESTful API development.
• You have familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet, Chef).
• You have Unix experience.
• You have exposure to cognitive automation technologies.
• You have strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a continuous improvement mindset.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across teams.
• You have a flexible, can-do and learning attitude.

This is an on-site role in O'Fallon, MO. Employees are expected to be in the office five days per week. The estimated hourly rate for this contract position is $70/hr - $80/hr. Our recruiting team will provide a specific salary range based on location and years of experience.
