Our Game Studio is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing player experiences, enhancing game performance, and shaping our overall strategy through data-driven insights. Role and Responsibilities
- Partner directly with game teams on data, metrics & analytics initiatives.
- Develop dashboards and reports for games across Roblox, UEFN, and PC games.
- Proactively perform data exploration and analytical deep dives to discover insights or future testing opportunities.
- Help design, implement and report on A/B tests pertaining to Game design and development.
- Construct and analyze player segments based on game behaviors.
- Conduct sentiment analysis on game reviews to inform design game development and leadership.
- Support the ETL process and work with development teams on new telemetry.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in building best practices for data processes and structure.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and the implementation of advanced analytics techniques
- Communicate results and findings throughout the organization to all levels of leadership
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of experience as a data analyst or related field, preferably in live-service gaming.
- Experience and knowledge of the gaming market as a player and or professional (PC, console, mobile).
- University Degree in Statistics, Economics or a related field of study.
- Strong SQL skills with experience in optimizing SQL queries.
- Proficient in Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with NLP/Sentiment analysis in a working environment.
- Some experience in ETL processes and dashboarding automation.
- Storytelling skills for presenting technical findings to audiences with varying backgrounds.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Bonus Points
- Knowledge of the UGC gaming market, e.g. Roblox and Unreal Editor for Fortnite.
- Familiarity with DAG/workflow management tools like Apache Airflow
- Experience with data scraping and data science methods.

Additional Information:
The base salary range for a full-time position in Los Angeles is $100,000-$125,000 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
