Role: Sr. Production/Application Support Engineer

Description:
- Should have worked as Support Engineer for more than 5 years in Banking Domain Applications/Production
- Manage and resolve technical support tickets of L1 & L2
- Partner with the Business and Vendor team to prioritize support tickets.
- Write Unix/Linux/Windows commands
- Facilitate effective and proactive communications with both internal and external customers.
- Test product-level functionality and new releases. Identify and communicate areas for improvement.
- Serve as the technical expert for Banking Application.
- Manage software upgrades on scheduled dates.
- Serve as a primary contact for our client's IT department.
- Troubleshoot network, database, and software problems for client implementations.
- Configure system settings and options, and execute unit/integration/acceptance testing.
- Create rules and data transfer mappings using SQL query.
- Select, update, and insert SQL queries for generating reports and databases.
- Data definition, data manipulation, data control, and transactional control
- Administration, including creating and restoring SQL backups
- Knowledge of using Command Prompt and its commands.
- Present technical overview of software applications and technical requirements to clients when planning upgrades.
- Manage setup of technical environment for hosted clients.
- Should have knowledge on ITIL process and tools like ServiceNow
- Work with Help Desk personnel to resolve client installation issues.
