Position Overview

As a Senior Angular Developer in this 6-month contract role, you will be the driving force behind the design and development of responsive and user-friendly websites using Angular 1 & 2. Your primary focus will be on crafting B2B websites that deliver seamless and engaging user experiences. You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to architect and implement robust front-end solutions, ensuring they align with project requirements and industry best practices. Your responsibilities will include conducting code reviews, optimizing application performance, and integrating Headless CMS, with a preference for expertise in Bloomreach.

To excel in this role, you should bring a solid background in front-end development, including proficiency in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, GraphQL, and RESTful API integration. Your knowledge of web performance optimization techniques, build tools, and package managers will be instrumental. Strong problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication are essential attributes for success in this position. Details of the role
  • Type of Work: Contract (6 month)
  • Location: United States (ideally in San Diego, California!) 
  • Salary: $80/hour

High-Level Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of web applications using Angular, ensuring they are responsive, user-friendly, and aligned with project requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement front-end solutions that are scalable, maintainable, and adhere to best practices.
  • Conduct code reviews to maintain high code quality, consistency, and adherence to coding standards. Mentor and guide junior developers in improving their skills.
  • Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize web application performance, and improve page load times for a seamless user experience.
  • Seamlessly integrate Headless CMS, with a preference for Bloomreach, to enable efficient content management within the web applications.
  • Implement robust testing practices, including unit testing and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability and quality of the developed applications.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive technical documentation, including code documentation, architecture diagrams, and development processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive approach to identifying and addressing issues, and an attention to detail.
  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred, and a master's degree would be a plus.
  • Extensive experience with Angular, including Angular 2+ versions, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex web applications using this framework.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript, along with expertise in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles to create visually appealing and responsive web applications.
  • Strong experience in integrating web applications with RESTful APIs and a solid understanding of API design principles.
  • A deep understanding of web performance optimization techniques and the ability to apply them effectively to enhance page load times and overall application performance.
  • Proven experience in implementing testing strategies, including unit testing and end-to-end testing, to ensure the reliability and quality of web applications.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining code quality, adherence to coding standards, and experience conducting code reviews to ensure code consistency and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to work in an iterative and collaborative development environment.
SD Pay Range
$80$80 USD
