As a Security Developer at Newton, you will be responsible for:

Working with the security team to analyze our platforms and understand areas of risk and helping to build custom solutions.
Evaluating logging and reporting technologies and develop bespoke solutions for monitoring and reporting security events.
Developing custom security dashboards.
Developing custom applications or modules for existing platforms (both internal and FOSS integrations) to meet unique security requirements of our company.

Nice to haves:

Experience in a start-up environment: you’re a self starter!
Knowledge of multiple programming languages (Python, Java, Javascript), with the ability to develop in Python
Familiarity with web application security issues such as outlined in the OWASP Top 10
Experience with Datadog
Knowledge of the AWS ecosystem
Expertise with Linux
