As a Salesforce Engineer for the Integrations team, you will be responsible to design, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance cloud-based solutions. In this role, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to architecture, coding, testing, and deployment while ensuring high-quality and reliable deliverables. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. This position offers the chance to solve challenging technical problems, mentor junior engineers, and make a meaningful impact on the design, development, deployment, and operation of world-class software and features that add customer value.
Your Responsibilities @ Aircall:
- Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers
- Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of your development
- Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge
- Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients
- Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring
- Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability
- Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of professional experience developing custom, programmatic solutions on the Salesforce Platform
- Expert level programming ability with Apex (including trigger and batch processing best practices), Visualforce pages, Lightning component(Aura, LWC, LMS)
- Deep understanding of Salesforce's declarative capabilities (Flow, Process Automation, Permissions, Security Model)
- Proven understanding of Salesforce data architecture, security best practices, and implementing scalable, performant solutions within a multi-tenant cloud environment
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex Salesforce data issues, sharing and visibility problems, and integration failures
- Experience with the complete software development life cycle, from design to deployment and operation
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; you should thrive while working in a cross-functional team environment to translate business requirements into technical Salesforce solutions
- Experience with production support, including implementing monitoring and alerting for Salesforce integrations and performance
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Platform Developer II (PDII) Certification or other advanced Salesforce Developer/Architect certifications
- Experience deploying software using Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Copado, Gearset, Azure DevOps)
- Experience with integrating Salesforce with external systems using synchronous (REST/SOAP) and asynchronous (Platform Events, Change Data Capture) methodologies
- Experience with building secure, scalable, and performant solutions that adhere to OWD, Sharing Rules, and Profiles/Permission Sets
- Experience with Agentic AI solutions or implementing Einstein AI features within the Salesforce ecosystem
