Varsity Tutors, a Nerdy company, is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Operations Manager/Salesforce Administrator to join our team. As an Operations Manager/Salesforce Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce platform to enhance our sales and customer relationship management processes. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, configure Salesforce features, and drive user adoption. The ideal candidate has a strong technical background, extensive Salesforce expertise, and excellent problem-solving abilities, with the proven ability to drive sales growth and conversion across our business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator and Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator are strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Salesforce Administrator, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce platforms (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Account Engagement, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce configuration, customization, and administration, including but not limited to custom objects, validation rules, flows, and Lightning components.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, data management best practices, and data migration techniques.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, and train users.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with security concepts and best practices in Salesforce, including user management, profiles, roles, and permission sets.
  • Strong commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and staying updated on Salesforce releases and emerging technologies.
  • Understand and appreciate that Nerdy is an apolitical company and that we can have the largest impact if we are united in our focus on helping people learn and not divided or distracted by advancing unrelated causes.
  • Experience with agile and working closely with designers and engineers to drive feature definition and implementation.
  • Experience with middleware/iPaaS platforms, such as Twilio Segment, MuleSoft, or Dell Boomi, is a plus.
  • Fluent in English.

Responsibilities:

  • Salesforce Configuration and Customization: Lead the configuration and customization of Salesforce to meet the company's evolving needs. Design and implement custom objects, fields, workflows, and validation rules to support business processes.
  • User Support and Training: Provide advanced user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Salesforce users across the organization. Conduct training sessions to educate users on Salesforce features, best practices, and system updates.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with the IT team to integrate Salesforce with other business systems, such as marketing automation, ERP, and customer support platforms. Ensure seamless data flow and consistency across systems.
  • Data Management and Reporting: Develop and implement data management strategies to maintain data integrity, accuracy, and security within Salesforce. Create and customize reports and dashboards to provide insights into sales performance, pipeline, and other key metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Analyze current sales and CRM processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement streamlined workflows and automation. Continuously optimize Salesforce to increase productivity, efficiency, and user adoption.
  • System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay updated on Salesforce releases, new features, and industry best practices. Plan and execute system upgrades, enhancements, and deployments in coordination with the IT team.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security controls, user permissions, and data access policies in accordance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Documentation and Governance: Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations. Establish and enforce governance policies, standards, and procedures for Salesforce usage and administration.
