Position Overview
- You are an advocate and champion of modern governance. Someone with a desire to drive customer impact by being a trusted advisor to everyone both internally and externally. You are an expert, and
you enjoy working in the governance, risk and compliance domain. - Your responsibility will be to advise and consult and build alongside your colleagues in the Solution Engineering Department. You will advise go-to-market teams on trends in audit, risk and compliance
within select key regions. - You will consult prospects and customers on best practice methodologies, change management initiatives and maturity pathways.
- You will research local regulation and trends to design and build local market relevant solutions using Diligent’s cutting edge GRC platform.
You will be uniquely empowered to set the agenda. Your partners in Product Marketing, Sales, Solution Engineering and Services will provide a platform to amplify your voice and to transform
your ideas and beliefs into reality. - You will develop relationships and collaborate obsessively with internal stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and our global customer base of the world’s largest
and most complex enterprises.
Key Responsibilities
• Be an evangelist of Diligent’s approach to solving GRC problems through customer events and within GRC sales opportunities
• Serve as the resident audit, risk, and compliance subject matter expert for select regions
• Maintain a strong and current knowledge of the audit, risk and compliance domain
• Identify and research regulatory changes and regional trends to develop market relevant stories
• Use market relevant stories to design market relevant solutions that will help customers solve real world business problems
• Own the management and delivery of market relevant solutions through research, design, building, testing and toolkit creation
• Lead strategy sessions, discovery workshops and product demonstrations to align customers business priorities, outcome, and recommendation on Diligent solutions.
• Educate internal stakeholders on market relevant stories and coach Product Marketing and Sales on real world challenges faced by audit, risk and compliance teams
• Review solution proposals with the Solution Engineering teams and inject real world insights into demonstration scenarios and technology concepts
• Create demonstration guides, talk tracks and scripts to execute repeatable sales engagements at scale
• Guide Customer Services on implementation milestones and objectives, and help customersmap a pathway to realizing value and achieving positive business outcomes
• Document and present best practices guidance at marketing events and customers conferences, during customer meetings and online.
Required Skills and Experience
• Proven success in a customer facing consulting role, with demonstrable experience of working with large and complex organisations
• Deep domain knowledge in the areas of internal audit, internal controls, SOX, compliance and ethics or IT risk management.
• Extensive experience in consulting and managing audit, risk and compliance initiatives and managing change within client organisations
• Excellent research skills to search for, locate, extract, organise, evaluate and use or present information that is relevant to a particular topic
• Experience of leading and collaborating in a matrix organization
• Excellent communication skills
