Principal Software Engineer

This role is a member of the well-established Development Tools team which maintains high-value services covering internal app distribution, localization, and game asset management.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write software and deploy it to cloud infrastructure following standard processes for code quality, code documentation, testing, security, and automated deployments
• Propose and implement new fullstack software architecture designs
• Coordinate with internal partners and customers on developing new features

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for an engineer with experience leading projects from the ground up, breaking work into logical components, and delivering results as projected. Experience serving as a mentor to other engineers is a big plus.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with software programming with React
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with software programming with Python
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS)
• Hands-on experience with SQL tables and SQL queries
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and continuous integration testing

PREFERRED SKILLS 

• High proficiency with Frontend web development - this role will be joining a team which has deeper experience in backend and cloud engineering. Preferred stack is React, Kubernetes, and Golang, but we also use a lot of Python and Django.
