How you’ll make an impact…
Our Architecture & Integration team is challenged with ensuring that Xero’s technologies and technical direction will support our long-term business goals. You will be joining us at an exciting time as we continue to evolve, scale and transform Xero’s architecture to support our customer needs around the globe.
You will be at the peak of our architectural capability, taking the lead on driving Xero towards a target future state architecture across multiple domains. This is a unique opportunity to frame the future of a successful SaaS company, solving large and complex architectural challenges. Through applying your architectural skills and expertise, you’ll work with senior leaders across Xero to develop a clear understanding of their priorities and enable and guide technical roadmaps to support these.
You will proactively collaborate with a variety of teams across Xero including Customer, Product and Technology groups, programmes of work and the wider Architecture community. You will engage with these groups in the most effective way to solve the challenges presented, adjusting as your interactions as needs evolve. You’ll be a mentor and coach to others, supporting the Architecture team to achieve the best possible outcome by providing guidance and governance to architects as well as engineers.
What You'll Bring With You
- Demonstrated experience conceptualising and implementing or integrating large-scale web based services.
- Experience with communicating complex technical concepts to a broad audience, including senior leadership
- Track record of solving complex architectural problems and influencing key stakeholders to align for successful outcomes, coaching and mentoring team members to succeed
