About the role:

The Post-Sales Solutions Engineer (SE) is a critical function of the Wallarm Customer Engineering team. The post-sales Solutions Engineer is a key technical role responsible for providing expertise and support to customers after the sales process. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring customer satisfaction, driving adoption of the product or solution, and maximizing the value customers derive from their investment. The Solutions Engineer collaborates closely with the sales, product, and customer success teams to deliver technical guidance and solutions that meet customer needs.

What you will do:


  • Technical Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the product or solution, its capabilities, and how it aligns with customer requirements. Stay up-to-date with the latest product enhancements and industry trends.

  • Customer Support: Act as a technical advisor for customers, assisting them with troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and providing guidance on best practices for product utilization.  Act as an escalation point for customers to help resolve issues or escalate to executives or engineering

  • Deliver demos to customers and work hands-on with customers to demonstrate Wallarm’s value in customer/partner environments

  • Successfully manage the end-to-end process for customer proof-of-values (POV) and ensure agreed success criteria are consistently met

  • Recommend API security best practices, application architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to successfully implement a complete API security solution based on Wallarm

  • Bring constructive feedback from customers to product management to improve the Wallarm solution.

What you will need:


  • Prior work with the cloud venders, Kubernetes and Nginx configuration is required

  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple project simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail

  • Knowledge of the Application Security industry, products, vendor landscape, history, and emerging trends. Prior experience in API security, API management, SIEM, Software Development, DevOps, DevSecOps, or web application firewalls is preferred

  • Ability to quickly learn, understand, and work with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the cloud/IT technology space

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Highly motivated, driven, and self-directed individual with grit

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly understand and resolve technical challenges.

  • Excellent communication, persuasive, and listening skills

  • Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites as required.
