About the role:
- Manage a team of both Manual and Automation testers
- Advance and mature the testing practice at Classy
What you’ll accomplish:
- Lead Test Engineers of various seniority levels across several feature pods
- Develop, roll out and implement software quality standards and best practices
What you bring (Required):
- 4 + years of management experience managing a team of 8+ manual or automation test engineers.
- 5 + years of hands-on software testing experience
- A collaborative approach to planning, problem solving and prioritizing with clear and effective communication.
- A desire to listen and ask questions with a sense of curiosity to understand
- Experience with Quality Assurance / Software Testing a distributed SaaS customer-facing application
- Ability to manage a team with empathy and integrity
- An understanding of how to develop personal growth opportunities for your team members.
- Self-awareness and a sense of humor
What would be awesome to have (Preferred):
- Experience with JIRA in an Agile/Scrum development environment
- Experience with testing of microservices
- Experience with Classy’s current suite of testing tools (Gherkin and Karate)
