As the Engineering Manager of the Integrations Developer Platform team, you will lead a group of engineers focused on enhancing the developer experience for creating and maintaining integrations within Datadog. You will be responsible for guiding the development of our platform, SDKs, and other tooling that enables seamless integration deployment, and validation. This role offers an opportunity to shape Datadog’s integration ecosystem by working closely with internal teams, external developers, and partners. You’ll have a significant impact on Datadog’s integration strategy, while also fostering the professional growth of your team.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers focused on building tools and platforms that improve the developer experience for integrations.
  • Drive the evolution of the publishing platform, enabling self-directed integration development, validation, and deployment.
  • Oversee our integrations SDK, ensuring its capabilities align with evolving Datadog product needs, such as support for new data streams and reference tables.
  • Collaborate with Product, Integrations, and Platform teams to define and execute a roadmap that enhances integration tooling and workflows.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of integration deployment and validation services.
  • Foster a strong engineering culture focused on innovation, quality, and developer empowerment.

Who You Are: 

  • Experienced leader with a background in engineering management or technical leadership in a developer tools, platform, or integrations-focused team.
  • Strong collaborator who can work effectively across teams, including product management, platform teams, and external partners.
  • Customer-oriented mindset, ensuring that developer needs are met with scalable, well-documented, and intuitive tools.
  • Mentor and coach, passionate about developing engineering talent and fostering a high-performing team.
  • Create a strong team culture aligned with our engineering standards and our customer focus
  • Participate in hands-on work: Code reviews, design reviews and some coding

Datadog offers a competitive salary and equity package, and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
