As a member of Ankr's Platform Engineering team, you will work on:

  • A global load balancer for our RPC products
  • Host firewall and network configuration across our server fleet
  • Service discovery for our application layer
  • DCIM and IPAM for our infrastructure
  • Monitoring the health of our network and servers
  • Maintaining relationships with colo and transit providers

Useful Skills:

  • Working knowledge of routing protocols like BGP and OSPF
  • Working knowledge of Linux firewalls like iptables or nftables
  • Working knowledge of reverse proxies like Envoy, Nginx, or Traefik
  • Working knowledge of orchestration systems like Kubernetes or Nomad
  • Experience writing Ansible playbooks or Python scripts for automation
  • Experience with dual-stack IPv4 and IPv6 and IPv6-only networks

You need:

  • The ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • A willingness to learn and work on projects outside your typical skillset
  • A systems engineering mindset to see how many disparate systems work together
