About this opportunity:

You’ll be leading the distributed remote-first Wallarm engineering team to build and scale the cloud-native products that protect APIs and applications of some of the most loaded websites in the world.

We are looking for a trustworthy and proactive engineering manager with many years’ engineering/development experience and proven leadership skills. You will be reporting to the Technical Director of the company. You will be managing several development teams (backend/Ruby/Go/Python, frontend/ReactJS, node/C). In this position, you will play a key role in the overall success of our Engineering department by planning, managing, and monitoring engineering functions. You will be responsible for a very crisp engineering roadmap to deliver on our product plans.

To be successful as an engineering manager, you should have good foresight, great communication skills, working knowledge of different engineering disciplines and how they relate to one another, and an aptitude for managing risk. You should have prior organizational leadership experience, be able to collaborate with team leaders and members, and be a strategic problem-solver. Ultimately, a top-notch engineering manager should demonstrate an excellent ability to connect with other engineers and developers and have a solid foundation in software design.
