Java Backend Developer (m/f/i)

For our Italian holding of wefox AG- wefox services Italy - we are currently looking for a Java Backend Developer, who will be involved in a B2B project regarding premium calculation:

In this role, you will:

• Implement production-ready solutions, possibly with the assistance of senior devs and leads.
• Debugging production issues when necessary.
• Contribute to project estimation tasks.
• Help to make well-reasoned design decisions, identifying potential issues, trade-offs, risks, and an appropriate level of abstraction.
• Support junior engineers within your squad when needed.
• Create innovation sharing knowledge between architecture’s team to pushing new tech in production

What you bring:

• Hands-on experience ( 3 years +) working with server applications serving api, batch or queue.
• Hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs.
• Nice to have hands-on on framework Spring, Quarkus, Micronauts or minor/vertical framework (ORM, Event)
• Nice to have know-how on design pattern
• Nice to have know-how on microservices, event driven platform
• A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with us.
• Experience working with git.
• Working knowledge of English is required; proficiency in Spanish or German is a plus.
