Requirements

About you:

  • At least 3-4 years experience working in an IT Operations team
  • Drive to be the “security of yes”, rather than a “security of no”. We drive to help and help other Voltologists, not set up roadblocks
  • “Doer attitude” and drive to solve problems, while learning from past mistakes
  • Working knowledge of MacOS and hardening/configuration
  • Understanding of IAM best practices and ability to experiment in this area
  • Drive for constant optimization and improvement of IT-related processes
  • Ability to effectively use centrally-managed AV/EDR solutions to secure Volt devices

What else would be appreciated?

  • Scripting and automation experience (no-code experience counts)
  • Experience working with MDM solutions such as Jamf
  • Experience working with Google Workspace Enterprise
  • Experience implementing Okta and integrating with SaaS and custom applications


What the role involves:

  • Making Volt back-office security policies and standards a reality
  • Working with HR on on/off-boarding processes
  • Maintaining a least-privilege access strategy
  • Taking ownership of MDM and Endpoint Protection initiatives in a truly international organization, while driving towards zero-touch deployment and user enablement
  • Identifying gaps in internal security measures and proposing remediation strategies
  • DLP findings analysis
  • Maintaining a reliable inventory and control of devices, software, and accesses
  • Implementing a fully-fledged IAM solution such as Okta
  • Educating Volt employees and contractors through internal phishing campaigns and whatever else you think of
  • Taking an important role in vendor negotiations and selection of tools to make our IT life easier
  • Assisting the Volt team with their IT and equipment issues and needs
  • Equipment logistics, requests, and maintenance


What happens next?

  • Selected candidates will be invited for an initial interview with our People & Culture representative. The video meeting will take about 30 minutes
  • Then it’s time for a second interview! The meeting will be conducted by our CISO and will last about 45 minutes
  • Our COO would also like to chat with you :) You can expect the meeting to last approximately 30 minutes
  • If successful, you will be given a job offer proposal
