IOS Mobile Developer

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As an iOS Developer at Kaseya, you will join a passionate and dynamic software engineering team, developing and maintaining mobile applications for iOS. Your role will involve working with Swift to build robust, high-quality mobile experiences for our customers. You’ll be responsible for all phases of iOS application development, from design to testing, while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful solutions.

You will thrive in an agile environment, working alongside designers, quality assurance teams, and product managers to create applications that meet our customers’ needs. Additionally, you’ll be instrumental in improving the performance and scalability of our mobile products and ensure high standards of quality throughout the development process.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Agile Mobile Development: Work on an agile team to design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient iOS applications for Kaseya’s mobile products.
• Collaborative Development: Partner with stakeholders and product teams to imagine, design, test, and deploy mobile software solutions.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with quality assurance and documentation teams to ensure application changes are well understood, thoroughly documented, and of high quality.
• Technical Design: Create technical design documentation, provide estimates, and contribute to project plans for software development.
• Unit Testing: Create and execute unit test plans to ensure the quality and functionality of the applications.
• Code Reviews: Review code, provide constructive feedback, and ensure the use of best practices in iOS development.
• Status Communication: Effectively communicate progress, issues, and status updates to the management team.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest iOS development trends and technologies and apply them to solve challenging problems.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

• Technical Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience developing and delivering reliable iOS mobile applications.
  • Strong experience with Swift programming and iOS development frameworks.
  • Proficiency in building iOS apps connected to RESTful APIs.
  • Solid understanding of Mobile UI design patterns, technical design, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control and collaboration in team-based development environments.
  • Experience working within Agile or Kanban methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design and computer science fundamentals (e.g., data structures, algorithms).
• Problem Solving & Communication:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

PREFERRED SKILLS (NICE TO HAVE):

• Experience with bridging Swift and Objective-C codebases.
• Familiarity with performance optimization and memory management in iOS applications.
• Experience publishing applications to the App Store.
• Exposure to mobile performance tuning and techniques for optimizing iOS apps for speed and memory efficiency.
