About the Role
We are looking for a skilled HR Data Analyst to join our HR team. As an HR Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in leveraging data to drive strategic HR decisions and enhance Lambda’s organizational effectiveness.
As the HR Data Analyst, you will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and interpreting HR data to provide actionable insights and support HR initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret HR data to identify trends, patterns, and correlations that drive HR strategy
- Metrics Development: Develop and maintain HR metrics, KPIs, and dashboards to track key HR metrics such as turnover rates, employee engagement, recruitment efficiency, etc
- Data Visualization: Create compelling visualizations (charts, graphs, dashboard) to effectively communicate data-driven insights to HR and business stakeholders
- Predictive Analysis: Utilize statistical methods and predictive analytics to forecast HR trends and support proactive decision-making
- Data Integrity: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing data quality assurance practices
- Ad-Hoc Analysis: Conduct ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required by HR leadership and business stakeholders
- Collaboration: Partner closely with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Compensation & Benefits, and other HR teams to understand data needs and deliver insights that support their objectives
- Perform other duties/responsibilities as assigned
You
- Have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience (1 year of work experience for every school year)
- Have 3-5 years of experience in HR/People Analytics
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Have strong technical skills in data querying languages, statistical software, and data visualization tools
- Have knowledge and understanding of HR processes, practices, and key metrics (e.g. turnover, retention, engagement)
- Have excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical audiences
- Are able to collaborate, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to change, and balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Have strong relationship building and networking skills
- Can manage ambiguity across multiple priorities and to know when to escalate issues for final resolution
Nice to Have
- Experience in the technology industry
- Start-up and / or remote environment experience
- Fluency with Rippling, Jira, and Google Workspace
Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $139,000 - $199,000 per year. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
