Join us as a Workday Integration Specialist, internally titled as an HRIS Integration Specialist, to join the Business Technology team. You will ensure the high caliber and timely delivery of workday features and tooling. You will stand as a champion for accuracy and integrity of data to support wider Appian projects.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Deep knowledge of Workday’s integration features, including Workday Integration cloud, and are proficient in coding and configuring integrations using Workday’s APIs and development tools.
Fundamental understanding of Workday modules such as Core HCM, Payroll, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, and Time Tracking to align with business processes.
Responsible for managing existing Workday inbound and outbound integrations along with building new integrations.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, clear documentation and problem resolution
Will work closely with Workday architect, product management and stakeholders to design and implement robust integrations.
Understand and follow Data Governance and ensure attention to data quality
Understand and follow defined integration/development standards and best practices
Understand and ensure security and data privacy standards
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Understand basic database architecture, tables, functional interactions, and recognize and understand impacts to downstream systems
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with team members and leadership
Ability to work and coordinate with third parties on data related inquiries
Experience with Web Services and APIs (WSDL, SOAP, REST and WS standards)
Knowledge of Workday implementation tools (Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Workday Studio, Workday Report Writer)
Strong problem solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities
Ability to prioritize workload and execute tasks independently, providing timely follow-up and resolution
Ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in relevant technical field (Information Technology, Computer Science, Software, Engineering or related technical discipline) or equivalent combination of training and work experience
5+ years of experience in interface architecture
