Position Overview
We’re looking for an experienced and analytical Senior Strategist to help grow our Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) practice. This is an exciting opportunity to partner with Webstacks leadership as we develop & refine this new strategy-centric service offering and deliver data-driven solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate has a growth mindset and experience translating data analysis into digestible insights for clients. Strong communication skills and enthusiasm are required. Knowledge of B2B website UX best practices and A/B testing is highly preferred. Webstacks is growing fast and the Senior Strategist is a high-impact role as the agency expands to meet the needs of our clients. You’ll have the autonomy to develop new processes and work outputs based on your experience while having the support and mentorship of Webstacks’ senior leaders.

- Salary: $120,000-$130,000
Depending on the day, you’ll:
- Lead the creation of reports for a variety of client projects, analyzing website data to visualize performance & identify actionable insights for clients
- Present reports to clients, consulting on the insights identified with strategic recommendations
- Collaborate with internal teams — project management, designers, developers — to provide a full-service offering
- Utilize analytics & project management software tools like Google Analytics, Google Optimize for A/B testing and JIRA to coordinate with our development team for backend implementation of the optimizations identified through data analysis
- Provide support for projects throughout every stage—including planning, setup, launch, analysis, and reporting
- Set the tone of your team’s culture. Provide an absolute best-in-class, special and highly personalized client experience; become a trusted advisor with expertise on our clients’ businesses, brands, industries and competitive landscape.
Required Experience And Qualifications
- Analytical Savvy. Proven ability to analyze data from multiple sources and generate actionable insights. Experience with web analytics and user behavior analysis is required
- Trusted Advisor. You have experience in a client-facing role, preferably at an agency, and enjoy building relationships with clients through data-driven consultation
- Move Fast. Be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of autonomy and accountability
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. You’ll clearly and concisely communicate via Google Docs, Slack, and Zoom to name a few.
- Ready and willing to ask and answer questions. You’re comfortable saying you’re unsure, asking for help, and reaching out to assist others.

Nice to have, but not necessary
- Experience with A/B testing and familiarity with CRO principles
- Prior experience with requirements gathering, project scoping and SOW development
- Proficiency with data visualization & storytelling; strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, in particular KANBAN and SCRUM development process
- Interest in the latest and greatest technologies

- Wearing many hats is challenging. As the first dedicated Strategist at Webstacks, you’ll be forging new ground in some areas. While you’ll have the guidance of our leadership team and a strong foundation to build on, you should be comfortable with adapting to change and confident enough to know when to make judgment calls and when to ask for help.
- You'll be the new teammate joining an established crew. Webstacks has grown significantly thanks to our exceptional design & development work for clients. As our first Strategist, you'll be responsible for learning how our teams currently operate, and will need to collaborate with the right stakeholders in building out work flows & processes related to our CRO practice.

SD Pay Range
