THE ROLE
At Quo, we are building the future of home ownership and are looking for a frontend engineer to help us. As a frontend engineer at Quo, you will work with a variety of technologies to help us build and maintain features for our flagship mobile app. You will work in our React Native mobile application environment to develop highly functional and maintainable code across a large product surface area.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Develop React and React Native code for our flagship mobile app
- Write high quality, well tested code
- Participate in in-depth code review
- Work with operations, sales, backend, and other cross-functional positions to build features that enable their work
- Work with design to build beautiful and user friendly components
- Exercise creativity in building delightful user experiences
- Learn and use security best practices for interacting with sensitive financial data
- Learn how mortgages and personal finances work under the hood
- Ship products and services that deeply impact thousands of consumers personal financial lives
ABOUT YOU
- Experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including automated mobile unit tests
- High proficiency in React or React Native
- Experience developing for mobile apps
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
YOU'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU ALSO HAVE
- Proficiency with TypeScript
- Experience with the following technologies: Instabug, Lottie, Firebase, Mixpanel
- Experience deploying apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Experience developing software in financial services
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Previous startup experience
