As a frontend engineer at Formant, you will be building everything from real-time robot remote control interfaces and advanced 3d visualizations through to configuration and billing pages. This is a domain in which the final form of tooling has yet to be invented, and you will be part of that process.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience developing interactive user interfaces.
You care about user experience. We’re trying to make something complex more intuitive.
Top notch CSS skills. We care about beautiful experiences.
Expert in React. We don’t do anything too esoteric but we like being organized.
Expert in Typescript. We build big code bases.
Some familiarity with 3D and ThreeJS. We make some awesome 3D experiences.
Linux & Git familiarity. Know your way around a command line.

Bonus Qualifications

WebRTC is a huge plus.
Interested in mad science with robots. No need to be a robot expert though.
WebAssembly, Rust, and other new tech that should be increasingly applied to robotics.
