Looking for a new challenge in your PHP development career? At Purple, we are building a scalable global fintech business from Brno and one of our affiliated companies Purple Next is seeking a PHP Developer. Four years ago, Purple Next began developing two apps: a payment gateway and an e-banking system. The payment gateway has been in production for several years and is currently operating. The e-banking system has a soft-launch deadline in April. After years of development, the team is now working on architectural improvements and rewriting parts of the apps.
Purple companies are not large corporations; instead, you can expect a rather small and flexible team. The entire team is used to working remotely, and they meet each other in person once a month, either in the Brno offices or elsewhere.
WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON:
- You will help our team with the development and the architecture of payment gateway or e-banking system
- You will cooperate closely with Tech Lead/Architect, Product Owner/Analyst and the rest of our developers
- You will also work together with UX and QA specialists
TECH-STACK AND TOOLS WE USE:
- PHP 8 and Laravel (payment gateway) or Symfony (e-banking)
- React / React Native
- CI/CD - CircleCI
- Tests - PHPUnit/Pest/Cypress
- Infrastructure on AWS / Kubernetes
- GitHub
- Confluence + JIRA
- On fly communication via Slack
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE:
- You have extensive knowledge of PHP and MVC frameworks (ideally Symfony or Laravel) with at least 3 years of experience
- You have knowledge of building GraphQL and REST, architecturing applications and following best coding practices (SOLID principles, design patterns)
- You are familiar with relational databases and their optimal usage
- You would like to gain experience in the Fintech field
- You are reliable and proactive
- English is required as we are a multinational team (at least B2 level)
