About the team you’ll join:
The Grow domain sits within Xero’s Customer Platforms group and manages the Sales & Marketing Technology for Xero. Within Grow, our remit is focused on Customer Acquisition and Engagement. We work with stakeholders to enable new capabilities helping Xero scale and improve our external customers and internal users experience.

We work with systems like, Salesforce Sales Cloud (CRM), Marketing Cloud, Qualtrics, CRM Analytics and other tools to better enable Xero to achieve their strategic objectives. We are one of APAC’s largest and most comprehensive Salesforce implementations working with a team of experienced and certified Salesforce professionals.

What you’ll do:

  • Support your reports to continually improve and grow at Xero
  • Effectively manage and support your reports to drive performance, culture and an inspiring environment
  • Develop robust, high quality software meeting the agreed specifications and complying with Xero’s development team standards and procedures
  • Assist Analysts and Designers with the design, prototyping and preparation of software specifications and interaction design for product features
  • Work closely with Quality Assurance team members to resolve issues raised by testing throughout the development cycle
  • Maintain a current knowledge of development technologies used in the development of Xero’s software applications
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships both within the development team and the wider organisation
  • Ensure the wider team have opportunities to grow and learn through providing project opportunities and development paths
  • Share your technical expertise with others, including training. Continually evaluate the Development team’s technical practices, identify areas for improvement and make changes to create improved approaches and achieve greater results
  • Work with the Development team to ensure that the solutions developed are delivered on time and give consideration to supportability, extensibility, and Xero’s own standards and practices.

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years hands-on experience in a leadership / management position, creating high performing teams
  • 4+ years hands-on experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud working as an external Consultant or a Salesforce Lead within an organisation, with relevant certifications
  • In depth knowledge of Salesforce setup and declarative configuration including security and sharing, along with knowledge of Salesforce integration capabilities
  • Experience with large enterprise projects spanning multiple teams from various business units
  • Experience with Apex or JavaScript preferred
  • Demonstrated experience in prototyping, agile and iterative delivery
  • Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Platform Developer, Administrator or other relevant certifications are beneficial.
