Role Description
The role will lead and scale up the architecture organization and will be responsible for building a SME team. Responsible for driving all architecture, re- architecture initiatives to building data strategy. The role will drive the growth charter and will play critical role in achieving 5X growth in next 3 years. The foundation of all new businesses and product will be built by the team

Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with the product and business teams to design and discuss scalable solutions to business problems.
• Own the products architecture and get involved in key design and architectural decisions with the engineering team.
• Responsible for the building the next generation architecture of the payment processing platform. Charter includes technical solutioning including automation, integration, Resiliency, Self-healing systems
• Initiate and influence the product architecture roadmap being in the driver's seat by proactively planning the architecture team's strategy and goals with the help of engineering and product management team.
• Setup best practices for team to achieve scale and quality performance of the system.
• Mentor architects to scale technical decision making and build long term architectural strategy aligned with product vision
• Own and lead strategic priorities like design thinking and long-term architecture for PayU products.
• Establish long-term architectural vision and defined pathways aligned with required business capabilities, incorporated in both long-range and short planning processes.
Ideal Experience
• More than 15 years of experience in technology domain with strong exposure in working with large scale systems.
• Hands-on enterprise architect experience across payments, travel, telecom and e-commerce domains. • Successful background working with stakeholders to develop architecture framework that aligns strategy, processes, with business goals.
• Good knowledge, understanding & experience of working with a large variety of multi-tier architectures. Awareness of pitfalls & use cases for a large variety of solutions.
• Experience & exposure to a variety of large-scale persistent systems including large databases.
• Strong understanding of backend system design and preferably worked on Python
• Managed teams but at the same time be a hands-on technology person.
• Excellent Mentoring skills; Be the technical mentor to your team
