We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Engineering, Ads to join our team. In this role, you will lead the innovation and strategy for the ads measurement space, driving the development and delivery of cutting-edge solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and industry partners to tackle today's advertising challenges, ensuring our offerings remain at the forefront of the industry.
As a Director of Engineering, Ads, you’ll get to:
- Innovation and Strategy: Collaborate with product teams to drive innovation and strategy within the ads measurement space, identifying opportunities for advancement and growth.
- Leadership by Example: Take an active, hands-on role in the product development lifecycle, guiding and inspiring the engineering team through your leadership and technical expertise.
- Team Building: Build and lead a world-class engineering team, focusing on hiring and retaining top-level talent to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with product, sales, operations, legal, and security teams, as well as industry partners, to develop forward-thinking solutions that address current and future advertising challenges.
- End-to-End Ownership: Own the entire product lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring performance optimization, timely delivery, and alignment with business objectives.
- Data Transformation: Drive business transformation by utilizing your expertise in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Anomaly Detection to enhance our processes and systems.
- Customer Engagement: Foster strong customer relationships and support sales enablement for major brands, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.
You’ll be a good fit if you have:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in Engineering, including 5+ years at a director-level or line-of-business management experience.
- Education: BS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Delivery: Proven track record in delivering complex roadmaps and managing large-scale projects.
- Innovation: Demonstrated creativity and innovation, with the ability to balance visionary thinking with practical execution.
- Agile Methodologies: Experience working in an agile environment, with familiarity in other development methodologies.
- Communication: Strong organizational, planning, and communication skills, with the ability to present and influence at the executive level.
- Ad Tech Experience: Familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem and proven track record of success with one or more companies within the ecosystem.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of web, mobile, and emerging platforms/technologies, with a passion for data-driven products and solutions.
- Hands-On Implementation: Experience overseeing and directly contributing to technical implementations.

This role will be based at our new Austin, TX office and in alignment with our return to office policy, this role follows our Hybrid schedule. This position is required to be hybrid in office at Austin. Branch is not open to supporting relocation at this time.
