What skills do I need?
- A BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, Computer Science, Biochemical, Bioengineering, Biomedical) is required. A Master's degree (MSc) in relevant fields is a valuable asset.
- 3-5+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, quality operations, or manufacturing systems, with a strong emphasis on technical proficiency within the manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Life Sciences manufacturing, including familiarity with GMP, GLP, and regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, EMA) is a strong plus.
- Digital Transformation Aptitude: Experience in either selling to or working closely with manufacturing companies on their digital transformation journey is highly desirable.
- Preferred familiarity with systems like MES/MoM, QMS, ERP, SPC, PLM, IIoT, etc., indicating a solid grasp of the technical intricacies within manufacturing environments. Ability to effectively communicate and understand customers' technical stack related to these systems is highly valued.
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills, you should also exhibit the potential to assume leadership roles and eventually manage a team.
- Demonstrated passion for technology, with fluency in discussing current trends related to SaaS, PaaS, IIoT, and cloud solutions, is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Consult with customers, prospects, and technical stakeholders, collaborating closely with Sales Executives, to advance opportunities through the pipeline, securing technical buy-in, and preparing customers for Digital Transformation.
- Provide comprehensive pre-sales technical support, through impactful technical demonstrations of Tulip solutions, effectively communicating benefits to various stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive pre-sales technical support to channel and strategic partners, including training and competitive intelligence.
- Assist in developing and responding to RFx documents and technical questionnaires.
- Facilitate brainstorming sessions, consensus building, and needs gathering for new customers.
- Lead scoping and estimation of implementation projects delivered by Tulip’s Professional Services Team, or Partners.
- Manage internal requests and provide input to cross-functional departments for prospect requests and product enhancements.
- Collaborate with Life Sciences customers to ensure our solutions meet industry-specific requirements, including compliance with regulatory standards.
- Travel: Please note that this role entails travel, ranging from 10% to 30% depending on demand.
