Data Science Intern

This is a fulltime internship starting Jan 2024 to March 2024.  We need someone onsite in Fremont, CA

Program Overview:

The Weee! Internship Program is a unique platform designed to fully immerse our interns into the dynamic world of Weee!. As an intern, you'll gain insights into our culture, values, and operations. More than just providing theoretical understanding, this program aims to offer a comprehensive insight into industry standards and best practices, equipping interns with industry-relevant insights and firsthand exposure. The goal is to prepare you for the real world, bridging the gap between academic learning and actual industry experience.

About this role

Join as a Data Science Intern at Weee! Dive into data analytics and work closely with our data teams to improve tools and find useful insights that impact how we build experiences and products. 

Responsibility

• Create key metrics for different regions
• Analyze these metrics to understand trends
• Find insights from the data to help business leaders make decisions
• Contribute to problem-solving efforts as a proactive and continuous learner dedicated to developing the most efficient solutions

Qualifications

• Studying for or have an Undergraduate or Master’s degree in the field of Data Science
• Professional aptitude in Java, coupled with a strong proficiency in Python
• Solid understanding of deep learning and recommendation service
• Proficient SQL skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with multiple stakeholders

Compensation Range

• This role is compensated at a rate of $25-40 per hour and is required to be on-site in our Fremont offices.
