Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000
The Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Data Analyst with strong SQL skills to join our growing Data team of 3 and counting! This role will be responsible for assisting in the analysis of large datasets stored in AWS Redshift, and will repot to our extraordinary Senior Data Analyst. The role requires excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
The right candidate will be especially curious, possess the highest level of integrity, and be self-motivated to learn our systems and any new tools we implement along the way!
A Day in the Life
- Work closely with the Senior Analyst to analyze large datasets stored in AWS Redshift.
- Collaborate with other members of the team to identify key insights and trends in the data.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries and scripts to extract and manipulate data.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports to present data findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Assist in data cleaning and preparation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Provide support to the Senior Analyst in ad hoc data analysis and reporting tasks as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data analysis and reporting.
Minimum Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, with experience in developing complex queries and scripts.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI - ideally Sigma.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a passion for data-driven decision-making.
- Familiarity with AWS Redshift or other cloud-based data warehousing platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or other programming languages is a plus.
- Startup experience.
- Experience with ticket management systems (We use ClickUp)
