Your Team

The CookUnity Data team develops and maintains insights and predictions across all functions. This is our center of excellence for data engineering and analysis. Your team will be working with rich data sets including:

Hundreds of recipes developed by our chefs each week
Detailed descriptions of the ingredients and processes used to create each meal
Ordering data from CookUnity’s nationwide subscriber base

Your team members will work closely with

Customer-facing teams to generate recommendations and personalize experiences
Chef-facing teams to help chefs create their best recipes
Operational teams to drive efficiency and deliver fresh meals quickly and accurately
Finance to create models for the business
And many more!

Responsibilities

Support our company strategy with data and insights in order to drive action and quantifiable business outcomes.
Build, maintain and enhance weekly and monthly reporting to inform strategy.
Support our app and web event tracking, collaborating with all Product and Engineering squads to define tracking needs and own our data governance in Segment.io.
Develop automated dashboards to inform business decisions with an emphasis on automation and scalability.
Partner with many stakeholders across the company to scope key business questions and generate actionable insights and recommendations to drive product performance.
Define, analyze and validate key metrics to improve decision-making processes and measure the success of diverse product initiatives.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in the analytics field.
Proficient with SQL.
Since our HQ is located in the USA, an excellent level of English is required.
You enjoy working in small teams in a fast-paced startup environment.

Preferred:

Experience with business intelligence solutions (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker).
Experience in web analytics and web analytics tools (i.e., Adobe/Google Analytics, Event Tracking, Segment, Amplitude/Mixpanel/Heap).
Demonstrated experience in A/B testing best practices.

Bonus:

Statistical proficiency and knowledge in R or Python a plus.
Understanding of ETL, data warehousing, and data modeling concepts and practices (we use dbt and Snowflake).
