WHY BOX NEEDS YOU:
Box is seeking a skilled Business Systems Engineer III to support and enhance our Procure to Pay workflows. You will develop, administer, and optimize Coupa and Certa platforms, driving efficiency, compliance, and scalability in procurement and e-billing operations.
This is a critical role directly impacting Box's operational success by ensuring seamless system performance, improving processes, and delivering innovative solutions. WHAT YOU'LL DO:
System Development and Support - Administer and optimize Coupa and Certa platforms, ensuring alignment with procurement policies and financial objectives.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across procurement workflows, collaborating with vendors to address complex challenges.
Lead testing efforts (QA, regression) and develop test scripts for system changes to ensure seamless deployments.
Ensure all changes meet Box’s business requirements and maintain system reliability post-deployment.
Automate and enhance procurement workflows, focusing on vendor onboarding, purchase orders, invoicing, and payment approvals.
Identify opportunities for scalability and implement solutions to support Box’s growth.
Configure procurement systems to ensure compliance with SOX controls and audit requirements.
Generate reports to support compliance reviews and maintain data integrity across financial operations.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and Procurement teams to implement solutions aligned with Box’s strategic goals.
Provide training and promote best practices to stakeholders, fostering a knowledge-sharing culture.
WHO YOU ARE:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5–10 years of experience in Finance procurement systems, with expertise in platforms like Coupa and Certa.
Proven ability to develop, administer, test, troubleshoot, and deploy changes to procurement and e-billing solutions.
Strong knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) workflows, including vendor onboarding, purchase order management, and payment approvals.
Familiarity with IT General Controls (ITGCs), including access controls, change management, and compliance requirements.
Proficiency in SQL for querying data, resolving discrepancies, and generating reports.
Experience with integration platforms like SnapLogic and API-based workflows.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
Ability to analyse complex business processes and translate them into system requirements
Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve technical issues efficiently
Preferred Skills
Experience integrating procurement systems with ERP platforms like NetSuite.
Knowledge of compliance standards and localization requirements for global procurement.
Certifications in Coupa or other procurement platforms (e.g., Coupa Platform Certification).
Experience in enterprise systems for industries like SaaS, finance, or tech is preferred
