🧑‍⚕️Surglogs is a health technology startup that broke through the US market. In less than two years, we have managed to digitize processes for hundreds of surgery centers and hospitals in 47 states in the US.
Healthcare professionals and patient safety are very important to us at Surglogs. Keeping it in mind led us to the most crucial point: compliance. Our technology improves patient safety, transforms healthcare compliance operations, and frees up a significant amount of time for medical staff.

Are you someone who consistently puts forth a lot of effort and steps beyond their comfort zone? Are you someone who always sticks to the plan despite taking lessons from prior mistakes?
Would you like to accompany us on our mission to transform the field of healthcare? If so, you might be a good fit for this role.

Let our DevOps lead tell you more about your role:
Hi, our future DevOps Engineer👋!
I'm Kamil and I’m the lead of our small DevOps team at Surglogs.
Don’t expect a giant Twitter-like infrastructure.
As a healthcare startup, we strive more to make our infrastructure stable, reliable, cost-efficient, and last but not least bulletproof against security threats rather than focusing only on scaling. You’ll play a pivotal role by helping me to design, implement, and maintain our cloud environment ☁️.
There is always some operation work that needs to be done daily too. Don’t worry, we as a team always want to get rid of it.

You've come to the right place if you enjoy solving problems and have experience designing, implementing, and documenting custom solutions for SaaS scale-up businesses operating on AWS.
You will report directly to me and have all the responsibility and freedom you need.

Problems create space for innovation. In our company, we always support going above and beyond our role's responsibilities. We love to learn from each other and solve problems.
Generally, there are only four key contributions you need to bring to your team:

- Experience in architecting and managing AWS infrastructure (from network to application layer)
- Well-Architected Framework - know how to design solutions based on all pillars.
- Broader knowledge of AWS services, not just core ones.
- EKS - We are freshly Kubernetes positives, any experience with k8s is welcomed.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. (Gitlab, ArgoCD)
- Expertise in automation tools and configuration management (e.g., Terraform)
-Being lean and efficient, knowing when to use the “quick & dirty” approach and when it’s time to make things properly - reliable, secure, and cost-effective. (Very important)

What you’ll be working on after you start at Surglogs
- Kubernetes evolving - ServiceMesh, Security hardening
- Optimizing CI/CD pipelines for developers' platforms
- Implementing DAST solution for all platforms (Mobile, Backend and Frontend)
- Refactoring existing systems and infrastructure.

You could be a great fit if
- You have experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
- You have practical experience with building and deploying Docker containers
- We are on the same boat, frankly, it’s a very small boat 🚣, hence you have to be a great communicator as well. We expect that you know when to raise a hand and ask for help and when to offer it to your colleagues. A mature level of social awareness and emotional intelligence is crucial for the “boat” to be steady and without holes in the bilge.
- You can embrace a little bit of startup chaos and punk.

🦄Benefits and Culture
Hi there, Kamil here again. I have worked in Surglogs for a couple of years now and I’m very glad for this opportunity to work with all my colleagues. They are very open-minded, insightful, helpful, and most importantly, they are funny!
